Collection and Delivery
Do you offer local delivery?
Yes, we provide a refined local delivery service for orders of £30 or more, available Tuesday to Saturday, between 12:30pm and 2:30pm.
Delivery fees are calculated by distance from our bakery in Dry Drayton:
- £9 within 3 miles
- £10 within 4 miles
- £11 within 5 miles
- £12 within 6 miles
- £13 within 7 miles
- £14 within 8 miles
- £15 within 9 miles
Your exact fee will appear automatically at checkout once your postcode is entered.
What if I am outside of your delivery radius?
We frequently create larger celebration pieces, including wedding cakes, corporate commissions, and bespoke orders for clients across East Anglia, London, and surrounding regions.
For larger quantities or special orders, we are often able to arrange dedicated delivery beyond our usual radius at an extra cost.
If you are planning a larger cake or have specific requirements, please get in touch with us. We will be delighted to explore the most suitable delivery options and provide a quote for your event.
Do you allow collections?
Yes, you are welcome to collect your order from our bakery in Dry Drayton. Collection times are arranged during checkout, and we ensure your items are beautifully packaged and ready for safe transport.
What delivery times do you offer?
Deliveries run Tuesday to Saturday, typically between 12:30pm and 2:30pm. If you require a different time, a private courier option may be arranged (additional charges apply).
What happens if I’m unavailable at the delivery time?
If you cannot be present, please provide detailed instructions for a safe drop-off or nominate a neighbour/porter/concierge to accept on your behalf.
Please note: liability ends once our delivery is complete.
Why do I have errors at checkout when I'm trying to order?
When ordering through our website, please make sure you have selected either collection or delivery on the cart page. You will be asked to select a day and time for delivery or collection.
You will then need to confirm your choice of collection or delivery on the checkout page. If you have selected delivery, a charge will be applied and added to your total.
Lead Times and Ordering
How far in advance should I place an order?
For our La Pasticceria, range, you may select a date from 4 working days ahead.
Cakes from our Celebration range such as Tradition Italian Celebration Cakes require at least 7 working days notice.
For bespoke or wedding cakes, we recommend booking as early as possible, especially for Friday or Saturday collection when demand is highest.
Customisation and Design
Can I request a bespoke or custom designed cake?
We don’t offer bespoke or custom designed cakes, but many of our cakes can be personalised with printed toppers or toppings. Each product page lists the available customisation options, so you can choose the perfect finishing touches for your celebration.
Can you reproduce novelty cakes or themed designs (e.g., Batmobile/Barbie)?
Our brand honours a distinctive traditional Italian style, we do not replicate other makers’ designs or novelty characters.
What we do offer on some of our cakes is a printed cake topper, which can have a custom image on.
We also create shaped number cakes in a variety of traditional flavours.
Are samples available?
We do not offer free samples. However, you may choose one of our smaller sized cakes to experience our craftsmanship and flavours, or visit during Saturday Kitchen to see what weekly treats are available.
For weddings, we offer paid sampling sessions, these cost £50 each, which can be booked by emailing us.
Allergen & Dietary Information
Can you cater to dietary restrictions (gluten free, vegan, etc.)?
We can offer cakes made with a wheat free sponge, but we cannot guarantee they will be free from wheat traces, as they are prepared in a kitchen where wheat is used daily.
We cannot currently provide dairy free, egg free or fully vegan cakes.
Most of our cakes are vegetarian, but some include gelatine or alcohol, please check individual cakes or ask for details.
All of our items are prepared in a kitchen handling nuts, peanuts, milk, eggs, soya and wheat.
Wedding & Event Cakes
Will you deliver and set up wedding or large event cakes?
Yes, we deliver and install our wedding designs. The fee varies based on the location, distance and event logistics. Please contact us with your venue details for an accurate quote.
What are your most popular wedding cake styles?
Our clients favour the Tiramisu Cake, Meringata Cake, Showstopper Croquembouche Tower, and the Naked Wedding Cake, especially in lemon. These timeless designs complement elegant wedding venues beautifully.
Storage, Delivery Issues & Cancellations
How do I store the cake and how long will it keep?
Our cakes are best enjoyed fresh, but many will keep well for several days when stored correctly. Some cakes are absolutely perfect the next day, and most leftovers are fine for up to 4 days if properly stored and refrigerated.

For all cakes, we recommend refrigerating any leftovers as soon as possible. If you have any questions, ask a member of the team when you collect your order or get in touch by email.
What if the delivery is missed or the recipient isn’t there?
The delivery fee covers one attempt only. A missed delivery may incur re-delivery charges starting from £30. We cannot refund due to missed deliveries caused by unavailability.
What is your cancellation policy?
For Celebration cakes, Cupcakes, Petits fours: cancellations require 2 working days’ notice for a full refund.
Wedding cakes require 4 weeks’ notice for full refund. Cancellations within 10 working days of delivery are non-refundable.
