Shipping & Delivery

1. Delivery Schedule

  • We deliver our handcrafted cakes between 12:30pm and 2:30pm, Tuesday to Saturday.

  • If you require a specific delivery time outside this window, we may be able to arrange a private courier, additional fees will apply depending on distance.

2. Delivery Attempts

  • Our standard delivery charge includes one delivery attempt.

  • If you’re unavailable at the time of delivery:

    • Same day re-delivery (if possible) starts from £30.

    • Next day re-delivery costs the same as the original delivery fee.

  • Please note: we do not accept liability for missed deliveries if the recipient is not available.

3. Changing Delivery Details

  • If you need to amend the delivery address, please email us at least 24 hours before your scheduled delivery date:info@biscottidebora.com.

  • Requests made after 12:00 GMT on the day before delivery may incur a re-delivery fee (from £30).

  • We cannot be held responsible if delivery fails due to an incorrect or incomplete address provided without sufficient notice.

4. What Happens if You’re Not Home

  • You’re welcome to leave us alternative delivery instructions, for example:

    • A safe place to leave the cake

    • Instructions to leave it with a neighbour, concierge, or porter

    • Alternatively, you can nominate someone else to take delivery on your behalf

  • Once the cake is delivered according to your instructions, our responsibility ends.

5. Handling & Storage of Your Cake

  • Our products are highly perishable, made without preservatives, please refrigerate immediately upon receipt.

  • Cupcakes: keep refrigerated, and allow them to come to room temperature about 1 hour before serving.

  • Petits Fours: these are extremely delicate, best enjoyed on the same day, though they can be kept refrigerated overnight (but may lose some of their pristine finish).

6. Wedding Cake Deliveries

  • We offer wedding cake delivery across Cambridgeshire, surrounding counties, and London.

  • The delivery fee is calculated based on the distance from our bakery.

7. Courier Protocol

  • To protect the delicate nature of our cakes, our drivers do not call ahead to avoid distraction.

  • If there’s any issue finding the address or if no one answers, the driver may call the number you provided at the time of order.
