Pistachio And Chocolate Mousse Cake
Pistachio and chocolate mousse is a dream combination for a celebration or birthday cake! In Italy, it’s a popular combination for ice cream – so I, of course, had to test it in cake form. The flavours work perfectly as the rich dark chocolate balances out the mild flavour of the pistachio mousse.
The bottom layer is a creamy chocolate mousse with dark chocolate chips, creating a satisfying crunch. While the top layer is a delicate pistachio mousse. Inside, there are 2 thin layers of fluffy chocolate Genoese sponge, helping support the cake and balance out the textures. It’s rich, creamy and oh-so-delicious.
The pistachio we use is from close to Mount Etna in Sicily, where I come from. And it wouldn’t be very Italian of me if I didn’t claim they were the best pistachios in the World.

Customisation options
Are you looking for a printed cake topper on your celebration cake? Our Strawberry and Cream, Vanilla and Fresh Fruit, Chocolate and Strawberries, Nutella, Black Forest and Caramel Latte cakes are ail able to be customised with an edible sugar paper cake topper. Simple select the option when you add the cake to your basket and attach the image you want printed.
For small and medium cakes, there is an additional charge of £10 added automatically, for large and xlarge cakes the charge is £13.50.
How to collect or receive your order
You can collect your order from Unit 18, Dry Drayton Industries, Scotland Road, CB23 8AT - Tuesday to Saturday.
If you can’t collect, we can arrange delivery we are able to deliver within a 9 mile radius of our kitchen in Dry Drayton. Our delivery days are Tuesday to Saturday. To find out more, please enter your details at checkout to find out costs and availability.
